Chloe Orozco Myers is an enthusiastic high school senior from San Marcos California who is ready to learn, grow, and excel as she strives to have power in her creative ability. Throughout her High School years, she embarked on a journey ending in the enlightenment of inspiration.  A Colorguard performance shown at her orientation lit an artistic spark within her. She was captivated by the beauty of each individual's hard work that unified into a shared masterpiece. Faced with the problem of the non-representation of creative writers in the English department, she took initiative to partner with ASB to hold a poetry slam. This led to a highly successful event that surpassed her initial expectations. The Poetry Slam would now be an annual event. Her creative outlets expanded to photography, music, singing, starting a film club, and graphic design. She discovered her voice and the depth of emotion that she carried.  Learning the guitar on her own, she learned the struggles that come along with artistry. Film club became a gateway for expressive students to engage in the art of photography. Online editing tutorials, access to camera equipment and various projects ensured they had the tools to gain a new perspective on the world and represent themselves individually. 

Photography has opened her eyes to a new world, where the camera highlights the elements of art and principles of design surrounding her. Behind the lens, she can expand her horizons. She once struggled to find her creative calling, but within the past years, she has developed into an organized photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and artistically successful individual. She can now take a walk around her neighborhood and define the color, shape, value, and rhythm of the sky and clouds.
